The Onga Pantera Series II Sand Filter incorporates the Sta-Rite multiport valve and under-drain lateral system and is ideal for pools and aquaculture.
Pool water passes through a sand-filled pressure tank, where the sand captures tiny debris you can’t see. As the dirt builds up between the sand grains, the filter pressure increases — that’s your cue to backwash. Backwashing is simply reversing the water flow to flush the trapped dirt out of the filter.
