Zelbrite Media comes from volcanic rock and its porous structure provides a huge surface area to trap the smallest particles. Davey Zelbrite Filter Media’s higher dirt holding capacity reduces the need to backwash and also reduces the amount of chemicals you need to keep your pool happy and healthy.
Davey Zelbrite Filter Media is suitable for standard media filters and can be used as an upgrade when sand is replaced. This high-performance filter media also lowers the output required from salt water chlorinators and therefore extends the cell plate life.
