Waterco Main Drains are manufactured from the highest quality impact resistant thermoplastic (ABS plastic) and include a hydrostatic valve for peace of mind. This valve stops your pool from lifting out of the ground when there is water under the pool or when the water level is low. A long ground water spear detects underground water at a greater depth and causes the hydrostatic valve to release before any water damage occurs.
