The Waterco Micron ECO Filter offers the very latest in fibreglass winding technology. Micron fibreglass vessels are fabricated with an inner shell of fibreglass reinforced with multiple layers of continuous strands of fibreglass filaments to greatly enhanced your pool water clarity.
The Waterco Micron ECO Filter operates with ‘Depth Filtration’ where dirt is driven through the filter bed, trapped in minute spaces allowing the clean water to pass through the fish tail laterals and exit via the filter’s multiport valve.
Fish tail laterals improve filtration and provide effective coverage of the filter bed with balanced water flow during back washing. Back washing is therefore quicker and uses up to 30% less water.
The hydraulic efficiency of the Waterco Micron ECO Filter also halves the back wash flow rate compared to a standard sand filter, allowing you the option of low-powered, energy efficient pumps.
This efficiency also reduces energy consumption, reduces flow resistance in your pool equipment and enhances filtration.
