The Alphaflo pump body is precision-moulded from state-of-the-art engineering-grade plastics and features a single-piece strainer pot and volute for added strength.
A high-grade 316 stainless steel mechanical seal offers superior protection against corrosion from chlorinated water, ozone, iodine, Baquacil, bromine, and saltwater environments.
Unique Motor Protection System
Unlike conventional pumps, the Alphaflo features a motor safeguarding design that prevents water from entering the motor through the drive shaft.
In standard pumps, if a mechanical seal wears out or the pump is run dry, water can quickly travel up the shaft and damage the motor. In the Alphaflo, any leaks from a worn mechanical seal are diverted away and safely drained from the pump, protecting the motor’s end shield and significantly extending service life.
