Fish tail laterals improve filtration and provide effective coverage of the filter bed with balanced water flow during back washing. Back washing is therefore quicker and uses up to 30% less water.
The hydraulic efficiency of the Waterco Exotuf Plus Media Filter also halves the back wash flow rate compared to a standard sand filter, allowing you the option of low-powered, energy efficient pumps.
